Space Cowboys and Asmodee are preparing to release a new set for the Unlock! Series of puzzle-solving adventures. Unlock! Supernatural Adventures is now on pre-order.
Unlock! Supernatural Adventures features three new settings with a supernatural atmosphere. The first setting pits the players as comic book-style superheroes facing the super-villains. The second is inspired by the Dia de Los Muertos festival, offering emotional encounters with the spirits of the dead. Wrapping up the set is an adventure featuring the Viking warrior Lif as he seeks new lands through foggy seas.
Like other games in the long-running Unlock! series, this stand-alone game challenges players to use their puzzle-solving skills against a time limit. Intended for 1 to 6 players, ages 10 and up, games take about an hour to play. Supernatural Adventures comes with three decks of 60 cards each plus a 10-card tutorial to get players up to speed. MSRP is $36.99.
Earlier this year, the Extraordinary Adventures set was launched (See “Asmodee Reveals New ‘Unlock! Extraordinary Adventures’”). Next month, Asmodee will offer Ludonova’s Men-Nefer (see “Asmodee Will Release ‘Men-Nefer’ in U.S. Retail”).
