Free League Publishing has shared the first look at new content for the upcoming ALIEN The Roleplaying Game Second Edition ahead of its Kickstarter campaign, launching later this fall. The update includes full-color, detailed maps designed to enhance the gameplay experience.
Sized at 864x558mm (34×22 inches), the maps are scaled for use with new RPG miniatures that will be featured in the upcoming Kickstarter. These maps also support the expanded stealth mode in the revised game rules, allowing the game to be played as a miniatures skirmish game, offering players new gameplay possibilities.
Created by map artist Miska Fredman (Astraterra), the first maps include two key locations: the USCSS Fidanza, a Nostromo-style spaceship, and the mining colony Jeremiah VI. Both maps are included in the new cinematic adventure Rapture Protocol. Additionally, maps of Hadley’s Hope, featured in ALIENS, will be part of the Hope’s Last Day Starter Set.
