Warlord Games is set to launch a new companion app to accompany the release of Bolt Action: Third Edition. The app is set to debut on September 27th.
The app has been in development for some time, having been tested in various configurations with earlier editions of Bolt Action and other games like Blood Red Skies and Black Seas. With the advent of Bolt Action: Third Edition, the app is fully updated to support the specific needs of this new version, allowing players to construct and manage their army lists digitally.
One of the app’s key features is the inclusion of all unit profiles from day one, ensuring that players have access to the latest data needed to build their armies accurately. Additionally, the app contains a comprehensive library of special rules.
The app also supports sharing and downloading of lists, which could be particularly useful for tournament organizers and participants who need to distribute and review army lists efficiently. Cross-platform compatibility is another significant aspect, allowing users to maintain continuity across web, iOS, and Android devices.
Warlord Games offers the app under a subscription model, priced at £1.99 per month, with an annual subscription option that provides additional savings and benefits, including a £10 voucher for the Warlord Games Webstore.
As this new app rolls out initially for web browsers and subsequently for Android and iOS, Warlord Games plans to provide regular updates.
