Builders of Sylvan Dale involves players designing and building a new woodland realm atop the Great Trees, following a series of disasters. The game employs a three-dimensional tile placement mechanism and challenges players to maximize their fame points to emerge as the leading architects of Sylvan Dale.
Altay: Dawn of Civilization is a deck-building game where players lead one of Altay’s Elder Peoples during the arrival of human settlers. The game features a dynamic of choosing to adopt new innovations or maintain ancient traditions. The gameplay incorporates resource management, settlement expansion, and strategic interaction between factions.
Æterna, designed by Martin Wallace, tasks players with increasing their family’s prestige in ancient Rome through various eras. The game combines resource management, strategic planning, and competitive dynamics to simulate the power struggles within Roman history.
