A new version of the classic OUIJA board game, “OUIJA: Beetlejuice Edition,” has been launched by The Op Games in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. Inspired by the 1988 film “Beetlejuice,” this edition introduces a thematic twist to the traditional board game.
The “OUIJA: Beetlejuice Edition” allows players to interact with the Afterlife by channeling the film’s main character. By saying “Beetlejuice” three times, participants can use the planchette to seek answers from the spirits, with the board featuring designs and symbols related to the movie’s gothic aesthetic.
Dane Chapin, CEO of The Op, commented on the new product, saying, “OUIJA is such a classic, mystifying board game and we’re so excited to pair it with a perfect partner in OUIJA: Beetlejuice Edition. Designed for two to four players ages 8 and older, the game includes a Beetlejuice-themed OUIJA board, a planchette, and an instruction booklet. The game is now available for purchase with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $29.99. It can be found on The Op’s website and at selected retailers.
