“Sefirot: Silver Seals,” the sequel to the Tarot-based board game, introduces several enhancements in its latest edition. Set on the mystical island of Dioscoria near the Arabian coast in the year 1562, the game incorporates elements of Tarot divination and traditional board game mechanics. It accommodates both solo and two-player modes using a reversible board and a specially designed Tarot card deck.
This edition, titled “Silver Seals,” offers refined gameplay mechanics in its foundational modes—Solitaire, Co-operative, and Competitive. Updates include new features such as Sun and Moon spaces for the Solitaire mode and Ouroboros connections that facilitate new strategies in two-player games. The divination process has been broadened to provide players with deeper reflections on personal or shared experiences based on the game’s outcomes.
A notable addition to this edition is the “Taroguelike” mode, “Adventure Mode: Dream Odyssey.” This solo adventure challenges players to traverse varied terrains, align with Tarot characters, and progress through the game. This mode also connects with the tabletop RPG “The Hidden Isle,”.
The Kickstarter campaign for “Sefirot: Silver Seals” has successfully raised $39,489, surpassing its initial goal of $11,166, with 29 days left until it concludes on September 26.
