As the Warhammer universe prepares for the Warhammer Preview Show: NOVA Open 2024, this Sunday’s preview teases a host of new releases. The focus is on the Martian Civil War in the Horus Heresy series and the encroaching forces of Chaos from the north, bringing new models and story expansions to enthusiasts worldwide.
The new campaign book, Campaigns of The Age of Darkness: The Martian Civil War, explores the severance of Mars from Imperial control during the Horus Heresy. This 168-page hardback provides a detailed backdrop of the civil strife on Mars, featuring new missions and campaigns, additional units, and rules for Techno-heresy.
Highlighted releases include the Archmagos Prime, a leader within the Mechanicum, and the Thallax Cohort, cyborg shock troops. Also announced are the Castellax Battle-automata and the Thanatar Cavas Siege-automata, each equipped with a variety of weapons and defense systems to diversify gameplay strategies.
The Warriors of Chaos are poised to invade the Old World, as detailed in the new Arcane Journal: Warriors of Chaos. This 48-page supplement offers new rules, character options, and scenarios to enhance the Chaos armies. Available in both hardback and digital formats.
The release also includes the Warriors of Chaos Battalion, featuring 44 miniatures that include Chaos Warriors, Chaos Knights, and Chaos Chariots, as well as several classic characters, monsters, and war machines.
The upcoming Warhammer releases also highlight exciting additions for Dwarf enthusiasts. The Dwarfen Mountain Holds are set to receive several new figures through a Made to Order event, which includes a selection of legendary Dwarf Lords and heroes crafted in metal.
