New Quest Entertainment, LTD is set to host the first annual championship tournament for its superhero-themed card game, BAM, at the 27th annual Nan Desu Kan (NDK) Anime convention on August 31, 2024. The tournament’s grand prize will be a professional wrestling-style championship belt.
Alex Menson, founder of New Quest Entertainment, explained the choice of the grand prize:
“Fans tell us that they love BAM because of the exciting game mechanics as much as in the carefully designed character art. There are a lot of elements worth loving about BAM, the card game but ultimately it’s a superhero card brawler. We want the winner of our first tournament to win something that really makes them feel like a champion”
Troy Fluhr, NKD Games Dojo Manager, also commented on the prize, stating:
“That belt is awesome. Definitely going to require the best out of the competitors to earn it.”
The registration for the BAM 2024 season championship will open on August 30, 2024, at 5 PM at the BAM booth in the game room at NDK. The registration is free, and contestants can purchase a limited-edition booster card pack, including an exclusive collector’s item foil card, for $5.00. The game creators will be available at the BAM booth for practice games and coaching until the tournament begins.
