Looney Labs Delays ‘Looney Oracle’

Looney Labs has announced the delay of the release of Looney Oracle, which was originally due July 25, 2024.

Looney Oracle is a decision making toy that give players cryptic advice from a deck of cards. It somewhat mirrors the function of a Magic Eight Ball, except from a deck of cards and with more Looney wackiness added. It is for one or more players, ages 8 and up, plays in 5-10 minutes, and retails for $20. This product was delayed for the following reasons, as stated by Looney Labs:

“Our already delayed ship had engine failure and had to be towed back to port for two weeks of repairs. It is back on the ocean now, but was delayed again at the Panama Canal, with an expected arrival at the New York port of July 21. It will then take 7-10 days to get through customs, then 2-7 days to truck it to our Vermont warehouse, then 1-2 days for the warehouse to accept the inventory and be ready to ship.”

The new estimated ship date for this product is mid-August.

Looney Labs will also release Winnie-the-Pooh Fluxx (see “‘Fluxx’s’ Next Stop“).
