Commemorate one year of resting your very best with newly arriving Pokémon, special missions, log-in bonuses, and more.
It seems like a dream to think we’ve been dozing, snoozing, and slumbering for a full year in Pokémon Sleep, but July 20, 2024, marks the one-year anniversary of the sleep game’s global release. The celebration for this auspicious occasion begins a bit earlier, though—from Monday, July 15, 2024, at 4:00 a.m. to Monday, July 29, 2024, at 3:59 a.m. local time, you can take part in Pokémon Sleep’s First Anniversary Fest. The event kicks off with the in-game debut of the Paldea region’s first partner Pokémon, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. You’ll be more likely to encounter this trio during the event, so get in some good sleep research every day to discover as many of their adorable sleep styles as you can!
That’s not all you’ll experience during the First Anniversary Fest. There will also be special missions available that reward items such as Sprigatito Incense, Fuecoco Incense, and Quaxly Incense.
Before the First Anniversary Fest officially begins, you can earn up to 1,050 bonus sleep points during the First Anniversary Lead-Up Gift Week. Just log into Pokémon Sleep from Sunday, July 7, 2024, to Saturday, July 13, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. PDT to collect 150 bonus sleep points each day. However, if you happen to miss a day, don’t worry! You can collect all the points that have been given out if you log in on Sunday, September 22, 2024, before 9:00 p.m. PDT.
To further commemorate the First Anniversary Fest, a pair of special bundles will be available to purchase in game. Look for First Anniversary Bundles and Pokémon Befriending Bundles for Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. Enjoy Commemorative In-Game Gifts and Events to Mark the Milestones
Bellevue, Wash. — July 10, 2024 — The Pokémon Company International announced today that exciting in-game gifts and events will be available in Pokémon Sleep to commemorate its one-year anniversary. Trainers can also get in-game gifts to commemorate that the sleep tracker app has been downloaded more than 20 million times worldwide across iOS and Android devices since its launch in July 2023.
One-Year Anniversary Celebrations
To mark one year of Pokémon Sleep, Trainers can look forward to the following in-game events and gifts.
- Three New Sleep Styles – To play Pokémon Sleep, players sleep with their smart device or Pokémon GO Plus + device by their pillow, then check their sleep tracking results upon waking and collaborate with Professor Neroli to record Pokémon sleep styles. Completion of daily research tasks increase the chance of discovering these three new sleep styles.
- Sprigatito’s Tucked Sleep
- Fuecoco’s One-Eyed Sleep
- Quaxly’s Seated Sleep
- First Anniversary Fest – Trainers can participate in the First Anniversary Fest from Monday, July 15, until Monday, July 29, 2024. During this time, players are more likely to encounter Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly in game. Complete special missions to receive Sprigatito Incense, Fuecoco Incense, and Quaxly Incense. Details on First Anniversary Bundles and Pokémon Befriending Bundles can be found on the Pokémon Sleep web page or by checking the in-game News.
- First Anniversary Lead-Up Gift Week – The First Anniversary Lead-Up Gift Week is currently underway and lasts until Saturday, July 13, 2024. Fans can claim up to 1,050 bonus sleep points by logging in during the seven-day period. To receive these gifts, log in during the event period and tap Main Menu from the home screen. Then tap the gift box icon on the upper-right side of the menu screen.
In-Game Gifts to Celebrate 20 Million Downloads
To celebrate 20 million downloads, the following in-game gifts are available for all Pokémon Sleep players from now until 9:00 p.m. PDT on Sunday, August 25.
- Sleep Points ×1,000
- Main Skill Seed ×1
- Dream Cluster M ×1
- Poké Biscuit ×5
To receive these gifts, log in during the distribution period and tap Main Menu from the home screen. Then tap the gift box icon on the upper-right side of the menu screen.

It’s time to celebrate Pokémon Sleep’s first anniversary!
This two-week event is a special time to celebrate the first anniversary of Pokémon Sleep’s global release.
In addition to the arrival of Pokémon from the Paldea region—such as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly—there will also be various other bonuses, such as one Pokémon for sure arriving hungry and the opportunity to use Mini Candy Boost.
Also, limited-time Dream Gifts will appear each day next to Snorlax during this event.
You’ll see what’s inside the Dream Gifts when you open them!
You can complete limited-time missions the first week to get rewards such as Pokémon incense for Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, and Pokémon candies for the second week’s missions.
On top of all that, we’ll be announcing new information about Pokémon Sleep every day for the first week of the First Anniversary Fest!

Limited-Time Dream Gifts
A limited-time Dream Gift will appear by Snorlax’s side each morning during the event in all areas. You can get various rewards by tapping the gift once per day.
The lineup of gifts is the same for all researchers. Each day, the contents of the Dream Gift will be chosen randomly from the lineup. That means that all researchers who log in every day during the event will get all the same rewards by the end.
Notes: If you don’t accept a Dream Gift from the home screen after logging in, it will be sent to your Gift Box (from the home screen, go to the Main Menu and tap the gift box icon on the upper right).
You can’t receive Dream Gifts in the following cases. (They won’t be sent to your Gift Box.)
• For days when you didn’t log in
• During the tutorial
Limited-Time Mini Candy Boost
Mini Candy Boost uses fewer Dream Shards than the regular Candy Boost function, so this limited-time function can be easily used even by researchers who just began playing Pokémon Sleep.
Using Mini Candy Boost lets your helper Pokémon get twice the usual amount of EXP from candies in exchange for using four times the usual amount of Dream Shards per candy. This function can be used with up to 50 candies per day.
This function will be set to ON by default. You can freely toggle this function ON or OFF by tapping the button in the upper right of the Level Up screen.
Feel free to use Mini Candy Boost when you want to level up your helper Pokémon!
The following effects will trigger in the applicable areas during the event.
— All Days (7/15 to 7/28) —
• A few Pokémon of different sleep types will appear during sleep research regardless of your sleep type for that day.
• Research EXP from sleep research will be multiplied by 1.5.
• A limited-time Dream Gift can be received each day.
— Week 1 (7/15 to 7/21) — A week when you can befriend lots of helper Pokémon!
• During sleep research, one Pokémon will for sure arrive hungry (once per day).
• The chance of each helper Pokémon’s main skill triggering will be multiplied by 1.5.
• Certain Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research.
— Week 2 (7/22 to 7/28) — A week when you can raise lots of helper Pokémon!
• The number of candies gained through sleep research will be multiplied by 1.5 (once per day).
• Final Strength gains from dishes will be multiplied by 1.5 (or 3 for Extra Tasty dishes or 4.5 for Extra Tasty dishes on Sunday only).
• Certain Pokémon will be more likely to appear during sleep research.
• The limited-time function Mini Candy Boost will be available.

• [Important] Each day of the First Anniversary Fest rolls over at 4:00 a.m.
• Event bonuses apply only to sleep data tracked during the event.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked before the event began and select “Review Later” during the event, event bonuses will not be applied.
• If you wait to report sleep data tracked during the event and select “Review Later” after the event has ended, event bonuses will be applied.
• Event bonuses do not apply to sleep tracking during the tutorial.
• The effects of incense stack with event effects. If you use Focus Incense during the event, Research EXP gains will be multiplied by 3 (×1.5 from the event bonus and ×2 from the Focus Incense bonus).
• You won’t be able to use the limited-time Mini Candy Boost function after the event ends. If Mini Candy Boost is available again during another event, the amount of EXP gained, Dream Shard consumption, and/or the number of candies that can be used in one day may change.
• You can’t get the limited-time Dream Gifts by logging in after the event ends.
• Items from Dream Gifts that are sent to your Gift Box have expiration dates, and you won’t be able to receive them after they’ve expired.
• Dream Gifts may be given out again sometime in the future. If they are, details such as their contents and availability period may change.
There have been reports of Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and their evolutions appearing near certain areas—maybe this is thanks to the sleep research you’ve all been conducting!
It may be possible to encounter them during sleep research sometime soon.

Sprigatito Incense gives off a scent that Sprigatito love. If you set it before sleeping, Sprigatito will appear for sure during your next sleep research.
The other incenses work the same way—if you set one before sleeping, that particular Pokémon will appear for sure during your next sleep research!
You can set up your incense on the stump by your tent or via the pop-up that appears when you tap the Sleep button.
