Misty Valley, a board game designed for two players, has launched a campaign on Kickstarter. Suitable for players aged 10 and up, the game involves a light strategy format that can be played in approximately 25 minutes.
The game centers on exploring a mythical valley, managing its resources, and interacting with its inhabitants to secure a win.
Developed by Grumlin Games with expansions by Zach Moore, known for “Solar Draft,” Misty Valley combines tile laying, area control, and majority game mechanics. The game offers an opportunity to play as part of one of two tribes: the Berrygnawers and the Trailblazers, each competing for valuable resources in uncharted territories.
The game includes high-quality cardboard components and two distinct meeple captains.
In Misty Valley, players aim to outscore their opponent by strategically managing valley tiles and encounter tiles. The game emphasizes tactical deployment of patrols and the use of special abilities to control resources and gain points by the end of the game.
