For U.S. and Canada
Upper Deck announced the release date for Neopets Battledome TCG for the U.S. and Canada, which will be on June 26, 2024.
This TCG was previously unveiled in July 2023 (see “New ‘Neopets’ TCG“). The first set will allow players to explore Neopia and bring their favorite virtual pets to the tabletop. Decks will consist of Neopets, Faeries, Paint Brushes, Legends, Equipment, Codestones and more that players use to out-roll their opponent all while defending their own Neopets. Games will be head-to-head, best of three battles.
“Millennials thrive on nostalgia, and there’s no better way to revisit your youth than with the iconic Neopets brand,” said Jason Masherah, president of Upper Deck. “Our new Neopets Battledome Trading Card Game bridges generations, offering adults a throwback to their favorite childhood characters and younger collectors and gamers an introduction to the exciting magic that Neopia brings. This TCG is another great example of how we’re accomplishing our mission to deliver the experiences both players and collectors crave.”
The new TCG will come to retail as booster and starter deck displays. Starters will retail for $19.99 and boosters for $3.99.
