The Op Games unveiled DaDaDa, a new cooperative party game, which will hit retail in July 2024.
DaDaDa is a language building game where players are cooperatively creating a language from a group of different icons and sounds. Players will have to categorize the different icons underneath the sounds while only speaking those sounds to each other. Later in the game, players will have to demonstrate that everyone understands the new language.
“Our playtesting sessions have been just insanely hilarious,” said The Op’s Nick Leslie about DaDaDa’s gameplay. “Everyone’s laughing, losing their minds because you can’t speak in any other language but the one you’re developing at the time.”
This game is for two or more players, ages 8 and up, and plays in 15-30 minutes.
The Op will also be offering Levity Games’ nature-celebrating Euro-style boardgame Gnome Hollow to trade in Q3 of 2024 (see “‘Gnome Hollow’ to Retail“).
