Arcane Wonders has announced the upcoming release of a new card game, Super Kawaii Pets. This game introduces players to a whimsical world where they adopt and care for pets, aiming to turn their sad expressions into joyful ones through strategic card play.
In Super Kawaii Pets, players begin with Animal cards that are sad side up. The objective is to cheer these animals using a combination of Animal and Help cards. Each animal that is turned to its Happy side contributes to the player’s victory points, which are essential for winning the game.
The game mechanics involve strategic decision-making regarding card selection and usage. Players need to manage their resources effectively, using Help cards to satisfy the needs of the pets and flipping the animals to their Happy side. Fulfilling the requirements of Location cards not only secures a home for these Happy Animals but also provides additional victory points and strategic benefits.
The game concludes with players counting their Victory Points from Happy Animals and Location cards, deducting points for any Sad Animals they possess. The player with the highest score is declared the winner, having successfully spread joy among their group of pets.
Super Kawaii Pets will be available for demo and purchase at the Origins Game Fair, booth #1401, priced at $14.99. It is also available for pre-order on the Arcane Wonders website.
