Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG Starter Set will undergo an early reprint ahead of its scheduled release.
The Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG Starter Set translates the expansive world of Eorzea from its original MMO format to a tabletop game. This adaptation allows players to experience the game’s universe from a new perspective, participating as either heroes or as the game master to create unique narrative experiences.
The starter set is equipped with various components to facilitate gameplay, including a Player Book, a Gamemaster Book, custom dice, character tokens, and ability markers. The Player Book aims to guide new players through the rules of tabletop role-playing, while the Gamemaster Book provides essential tips for game masters along with three premade scenarios that integrate elements of Final Fantasy XIV’s storyline.
The kit also includes four premade character sheets with roles such as Warrior, White Mage, Dragoon, and Black Mage, designed to enable players to engage quickly with the game. Additionally, the set features custom-designed dice, an encounter map, and a strategy guide.
Set for release in September 2024, the decision to reprint the Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG Starter Set prior to its official launch highlights strong pre-release interest from the community.
