The Kickstarter campaign for Lex Arcana, a role-playing game that integrates elements of Roman history, mythology, and legend, has achieved significant success, exceeding its funding goal. The campaign set out to raise $21,706 but has gathered $120,492 from 852 backers with nine days left until its conclusion on April 19. The funds are aimed at developing three new sourcebooks titled ROMA, RISE OF ATLANTIS, and THE FALL, alongside new maps and a deck focusing on Roma, the core of the Roman Empire.
Lex Arcana offers players a chance to explore a world where the Roman Empire’s might is challenged not only by external forces but also by mystical and supernatural elements. Players take on the roles of Custodes, members of the Cohors Auxiliaria Arcana, tasked with undertaking dangerous missions to safeguard the empire.
The forthcoming books promise to add depth to the game’s setting, presenting new challenges and adventures for players. In addition to the new content, the campaign has announced that the books will be available in both English and Italian, giving backers the option to choose their preferred language for the rewards once the campaign concludes.
