Renegade Game Studios recently announced two additions to their lineup of games, both being crossovers of established IPs and titles.
First in the lineup is Robo Rally: Transformers, a game that takes players to Velocitron, the setting for a high-stakes race among the universe’s fastest robots. The game captures the essence of the Transformers universe, allowing players to navigate their characters through treacherous terrains in both robot and vehicle modes. The goal is simple yet challenging: reach the final checkpoint first to claim victory. With a variety of racecourses set in a Cybertronian city or desert and new elements to enhance gameplay, such as drift program cards and dynamic obstacles, the game is designed to offer endless hours of fun and strategic play.
Following Robo Rally: Transformers, Renegade Game Studios introduces G.I. JOE: Battle for the Arctic Circle, drawing inspiration from the Axis & Allies gameplay to create a strategic board game that pits players against each other in a battle for control of the Arctic Circle. In this game, the classic struggle between G.I. Joe and Cobra is taken to new heights as they vie for dominance with over 100 figures at their command. The game introduces a unique twist with the Weather Dominator, a device that can alter the course of play by freezing seas or creating land bridges, adding a layer of strategic depth to battles over the Arctic.
