The Binc Foundation Launches a Campaign to Increase Monthly Donors with a Matching Gift

BOOM! Studios will make a $50 gift on behalf of the first 100 donors who pledge a new or increased monthly commitment to the Book Industry Charitable (Binc) Foundation before April 28. A monthly donation of any amount $5 or above will help unlock BOOM! Studios generous $5,000 gift and ensure Binc can continue to Do Good All Year. 

BOOM! Studios was founded in 2005 to create world-class comic book and graphic novel storytelling for all audiences. The company has produced bestselling, award-winning original work, including Keanu Reeves’ BRZRKR, Something is Killing the Children, and Lumberjanes, while also breaking new ground with established licenses such as Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Dune, Magic: The Gathering, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and The Jim Henson Company properties. 

Binc is the only nonprofit in the country dedicated to assisting booksellers and comic shop employees in need. Its core program supports employees and shop owners who have a demonstrated financial need arising from severe hardship and/or emergency circumstances. Binc also provides access to mental health therapy, connects people with local resources, and supports career advancement and professional development for booksellers and comic retailers across the country.
