Marvel Comics will celebrate 60 years of Daredevil, the Man Without Fear, in June 2024 with a special issue, Daredevil #8, that includes a number of extras in addition to the latest episode of the ongoing story by writer Saladin Ahmed and artist Aaron Kuder.
Additional content in the super-sized issue includes:
- A story by Ahmed and Tommaso Bianchi in which Elektra goes up against the army of Heat.
- A 1980s flashback by writer Ann Nocenti and artist Stefano Rafaelle, in which Daredevil goes up against Turk and his minions in a bathhouse.
- Another Elektra story by Erica Schultz (Daredevil: Gang War) and artist Jan Bazaluda, focusing on her relationship with Alice.
- A look at Matt Murdock’s inspirational side by Women of Marvel writer Elsa Sjunnerson and artist Erica Koda.
- A showdown between Daredevil and the Punisher, by Daredevil: Black Armor writer D.G. Chichester and artist Ken Lashley, set in the 1990s during Chichester’s run on the series.
- Ty Templeton’s “Daily Bugle” comics.
Daredevil #8 will go on sale on April 17, 2024, with a main cover by John Romita Jr. and variants by Frank Miller, J. Scott Campbell, John Romita Sr., Simone Bianchi, and Stephen Segovia.
