Renegade Game Studios will release beginner boxes for two of its Hasbro-licensed roleplaying games, Transformers and G.I. Joe, in May, the company announced. Each is for players 14 and up, and will retail for $35.
In Transformers Roleplaying Game Beginner Box: Roll Out, players use cooperative storytelling and the dice to become heroic Autobots and stop the Decepticons, collect Energon cubes, and protect the people of Earth.
The box includes a 32-page Playing the Game booklet, 28-page first adventure, 32-page second adventure, 8 pre-generated characters, a set of Transformers dice, and a GM Screen.
In G.I. Joe Roleplaying Game Beginner Box: Boot Camp, players take the roles of members of the G.I. Joe team and battle COBRA using storytelling and the dice. Box contents include a 32-page Playing the Game booklet, a 26-page first adventure, a 26-page second adventure, 8 pre-generated characters, a set of G.I. Joe dice, and a GM screen.Source: ICv2
