George O’Connor Moves from Greek Gods to Norse Myths for New Series

George O’Connor, creator of the 12-volume Olympians middle-grade graphic novels, will launch a new series in March, Asgardians, that will retell tales from Norse mythology. Like Olympians, the new series will be published by First Second, and each volume will focus on a single god. The first volume, Asgardians: Odin, will be published on March 26, 2024, and the second, Asgardians: Thor, will follow on October 8. Both will be 96 pages, rated for readers aged 9-14, and available in two formats, a hardcover with an MSRP of $21.99 and a paperback with an MSRP of $12.99.

O’Connor contributed a “Thor and Loki” story to the middle-grade anthology Marvel Super Stories, published by Abrams in October 2023 (see “Marvel, Abrams Team Up for Middle-Grade Anthology”).
