Falkner pairs up with an iconic Flying-type Pokémon first discovered in the Johto region.
Falkner & Noctowl are a Flying-type support sync pair ready to showcase the magnificent might of bird Pokémon. Their Dreamlike Hypnosis buddy move puts all opposing sync pairs to sleep and also leaves them all flinching, confused, or trapped. Once they’re snoozing, Falkner & Noctowl’s allies will get a random single-rank stat increase to their Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, accuracy, or evasiveness. Best of all: Dreamlike Hypnosis never misses.
After Dreamlike Hypnosis puts the opposition to sleep, Falkner & Noctowl’s Use Status P-Move: Team Attack ↓ 9 and Use Status P-Move: Team Sp. Atk ↓ 9 passive skills lower the Attack and Sp. Atk, respectively, of all opposing sync pairs by one stat rank. Falkner & Noctowl have such mastery of slumber that their Team Wide Awake passive skill keeps all allies from nodding off mid-battle.

- Serena & Delphox
“Sleep chaining” is a strategy in Pokémon Masters EX that involves putting each opponent to sleep using a cadence that prevents them from ever being awake enough to attack. Serena & Delphox are one of the most popular sync pairs capable of employing this tactic. They can put opponents to sleep with Hypnosis, and their Go Viral 9 passive skill guarantees that whenever they inflict a status condition on an opponent, that same condition will be inflicted on all opposing sync pairs.With some extra soporific support from Falkner & Noctowl, Serena & Delphox can do plenty of damage thanks to their Good Night-mare 5 passive skill, which powers up their own moves when they target a sleeping opponent. Serena & Delphox’s Rude Awakening 5 sync grid tile similarly powers up their sync move when used against a sleeping opponent. Serena & Delphox are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Kalos Ticket Scout.
- Darach & Staraptor
Falkner & Noctowl excel at putting their opponents to sleep and lowering their stats, which breezily supports Darach & Staraptor’s strengths. Darach & Staraptor can lower an opponent’s Attack by two ranks with Feather Dance, greatly weakening sync pairs that do physical damage. Then, these two birds of a feather can deal plenty of damage together thanks to Darach & Staraptor’s Power Posture passive skill. Power Posture powers up Darach & Staraptor’s moves the more a target’s Attack is lowered—the perfect complement to Falkner & Noctowl’s Use Status P-Move: Team Attack ↓ 9 passive skill. Darach & Staraptor are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Sinnoh Ticket Scout.

The Presents! Limit 3! Falkner Variety Scout is a special Sync Pair Scout that can only be used with Paid Gems. Also, for the first time only, you can use this scout for half the usual number of Gems.
As part of the Presents! Limit 3! Falkner Variety Scout, you can receive items according to the number of times you use the Sync Pair Scout, such as Custom ★ Power-Ups for Falkner & Noctowl and a 5★ Master Scout Ticket W.
You can use the 5★ Master Scout Ticket W on the Falkner Guaranteed Variety Scout to team up with 5★ Falkner & Noctowl guaranteed!
Note: You may only use the Presents! Limit 3! Falkner Variety Scout a total of 3 times.
