DeNA is continuing to add more events and new features to Pokémon Masters EX on a regular basis. Read on below to learn more:
Showcase Kanto spirit with a support sync pair that brings the Pallet Town pride.
There’s a time trial event happening on Pasio, and everyone wants to prove they’ve got the speed to be number one. Elaine is keen on participating, and right on cue, her hometown friend Chase arrives to join her team. Find out how it all goes down and take on the challenge yourself during Time Trial Event: Let’s Go for Number One!
Chase & Pikachu are an Electric-type support sync pair with Trainer moves and passive skills that can really electrify their allies. Their Kanto Analysis Trainer move increases all allies’ Special Moves ↑ Next effect by one stat rank and applies Kanto Circle (Special) to the allied field of play. Kanto Circle (Special) powers up all allies’ special attack moves and special sync moves, and reduces the damage allies take from special attack moves and special sync moves. These bonuses get even better with each additional sync pair with the Kanto theme skill on your team!
If you’re looking for even more coverage, Chase & Pikachu have you covered with their passive skill T-Move: Team Speed ↑ & Evasiveness ↑ 9, which raises the Speed and evasiveness of all allied sync pairs by one stat rank each time Chase & Pikachu use a Trainer move. Between two uses each of X Sp. Atk All, Kanto Analysis, and Let’s Go, Everyone!, Chase & Pikachu can fully raise the Speed and evasiveness of all allied sync pairs to make battles a breeze.
For more details on this sync pair’s passive skills and moves, check out Chase & Pikachu’s in-game sync pair scout screen. Chase & Pikachu are available to scout until February 19, 2024, at 9:59 p.m. PST.
- Giovanni & Mewtwo
Giovanni & Mewtwo are one of the strongest sync pairs in Pokémon Masters EX thanks to their powerful sync grid tiles, such as Brainteaser, Smarty-Pants, and Critical Strike 3. They can also raise their own critical hit-rate with their Trainer move, Nowhere to Hide! Still, this formidable sync pair often requires a support sync pair who can raise their Sp. Atk—and that’s where Chase & Pikachu come in!Chase & Pikachu’s X Sp. Atk All raises the Sp. Atk of all allied sync pairs by two stat ranks with each use, which means they can raise Giovanni & Mewtwo’s Sp. Atk by a minimum of four stat ranks. Both sync pairs also share the Kanto theme skill, improving the bonuses from Chase & Pikachu’s Kanto Circle (Special), thus allowing Giovanni & Mewtwo to do even more damage.
Giovanni & Mewtwo can be obtained after completing Lurking Shadow in the Legendary Adventures portion of the main story.
- Blue & Pidgeot
Nothing says power quite like Pallet Town. Blue & Pidgeot are a special strike sync pair and one of the first sync pairs to join you in your Pokémon Masters EX journey. While Blue & Pidgeot can raise their own Sp. Atk up to four stat ranks with X Sp. Atk, the extra help from Chase & Pikachu’s X Sp. Atk All gets them up and attacking at maximum power that much faster. They also have the Kanto theme skill, making Chase & Pikachu’s Kanto Circle (Special) even more effective.Blue & Pidgeot can be obtained from the trial scout after completing Chapter 1 of the main story.
Keep up the great pace, Trainers!
