Pokémon HOME is a special app that enables Trainers to continue their Pokémon adventures beyond a single game system and manage their collection of Pokémon across many of their games. Pokémon HOME is available now on Nintendo Switch, iPhone and iPad (App Store), and Android (Google Play) devices. A new Pokémon HOME update is available now:

Note
- This update must be applied in order to use the game’s Internet features.
- Save data will still be available for use after downloading the update.
- The update will download and install automatically if the system is connected to the internet and the Auto-Update Software setting is enabled. If there is not enough system memory or microSD card storage to download the update, you will first need to expand or free up memory space and then follow the steps below.
Complete these steps
- Connect the Nintendo Switch console to the internet.
- From the HOME Menu, select the icon for the software you wish to update without starting the game or application.
- Press the + Button or – Button on your controller. The current version number will display under the software title.
- Select Software Update followed by Via the Internet.

Updated Content
- Added compatibility with The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Part 2: The Indigo Disk DLC for the Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
- Added the ability to view a Pokémon’s stats from different games it’s been in while Pokémon HOME is connected to a game. (Until now, the Change View function could only be used while Pokémon HOME was not connected to a game.)
- Other issues have also been addressed in order to ensure a user-friendly experience.
