Niantic Update 12/8/2023: Trainers, as a token of apology for the server issues affecting Hisuian Samurott Raid Day, we have added a free Item Bundle in the Shop for affected Trainers. Be sure to claim it before December 11, local time.

A Pokémon known for being hard of heart and deft of blade makes a dramatic debut.

Stock up on Raid Passes and Potions, because Pokémon GO’s Hisuian Samurott Raid Day kicks off December 3, 2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. local time. During this time, Hisuian Samurott will make its debut in three-star raids, and lucky Trainers might encounter a Shiny one. The Pokémon might be formidable, but obtaining enough Raid Passes won’t be—Trainers can get up to five additional free Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs. Additionally, the Remote Raid limit will increase to 20 from Saturday, December 2, at 4:00 p.m. to Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. PST. That way, Trainers can join their friends for Raid Day, no matter what time zone they’re in!

Trainers looking to maximize their Raid Day experience can purchase an event ticket for US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing in your local currency). Tickets will grant access to the following event bonuses, which will be in effect from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. the day of the event.

  • Eight additional Raid Passes from spinning Gym Photo Discs, for a daily total of 14
  • Increased chance of receiving Rare Candy XL
  • 50% more XP from Raid Battles
  • 2× Stardust from Raid Battles

Fight formidably, Trainers!
