Catch up with Community Day! Pokémon from 2022 and 2023 Community Days are returning for a year-end catch celebration!

The year is nearly behind us, which means it’s time to reflect on all the fun everyone had during this year’s Community Days. If you missed any, now’s your chance to catch up!
The last Community Day of 2023 will take place over two days—Saturday, December 16, 2023, and Sunday, December 17, 2023.
Throughout the event, Pokémon featured in Community Day events in 2023 will appear more frequently in the wild and as reward encounters for Timed Research. Pokémon featured in Community Day events throughout 2022 will hatch from Eggs and appear in raids and as reward encounters for Timed Research. There’s no better way to wrap up the year than by catching Pokémon from Community Day events you may have missed!
December Community Day 2023
Saturday, December 16, 2023, and Sunday, December 17, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Event bonuses
Featured Pokémon
A different set of Pokémon will be featured on each event day—Saturday, December 16, 2023, and Sunday, December 17, 2023—from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. The Pokémon that appear during this time will have the same chance of appearing as a Shiny Pokémon as those that appeared during their original Community Days. Outside of these times, any of the featured Pokémon may appear from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. local time on either Saturday or Sunday!
Raids
The following Pokémon will appear in raids.
Eggs
The following Pokémon featured during Community Day events in 2022 will hatch from 2 km Eggs.
Featured attacks
The following featured attacks will be available when evolving these Pokémon—except Ursaluna—from Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 9:00 a.m local time to Sunday, December 17, 2023, 9:00 p.m. local time.
Evolve Slowpoke or Galarian Slowpoke to get a Slowbro, Galarian Slowbro, Slowking, or Galarian Slowking that knows the Charged Attack Surf.
Community Day Special Research story: December Community Day 2023
- For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the December Community Day–exclusive Special Research story for the event.
- Stay tuned for when tickets for the Special Research story go live.
- Don’t forget: you’re now able to purchase and gift tickets to any of your friends that you’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.* To gift a ticket, tap the Special Research ticket in the in-game shop, then tap the Gift button instead of the Buy button.
Tickets are nonrefundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Please note that this Special Research will not include an in-game medal.
Timed Research
Timed Research will be available that awards King’s Rocks, Magnetic Lures, and encounters with Pokémon featured in previous Community Days from 2022 and 2023.
Field Research
Field Research leading to encounters with Pokémon featured in previous Community Days in 2023 will be available.
Stickers
You’ll be able to get 2023 Community Day stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.
PokéStop Showcases
Be on the lookout for Showcases at different PokéStops during the event where you can enter Pokémon featured in Community Day events in 2023.
