A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 54)
A Message from the Pokémon Masters EX Team (Vol. 54)
Greetings, Trainers.
We’re the producers of Pokémon Masters EX, Yu Sasaki and Tetsuya Iguchi, here with a new message for you.
Today, we’ll focus on details about events beginning around the end of November and the new Sync Pairs that will debut.
App Update for Late November
A New Guest Arrives in the Trainer Lodge
Starting November 30, 2023, you’ll be able to invite Jasmine as a Guest to the Trainer Lodge!
To invite Jasmine, you’ll need to team up with Jasmine & Steelix first.
You can team up with Jasmine & Steelix from various Sync Pair Scouts, so be sure to invite her once you’ve teamed up with this Sync Pair.
New Content Coming to the Mysterious Stones Chapter!
New story content will be added to the Mysterious Stones Chapter on November 30, 2023!
You’ll need to have collected a total of 100 Mysterious Stones to unlock this story’s area, so try to collect them from Daily Region Rotation and Trainer Lodge expeditions!
You can exchange Mysterious Stones for items such as Move Candy Coins in the Monthly tab under Exchange Items.
Please remember that the number of Mysterious Stones you need to unlock areas is based on the total number that you have collected, not the number you currently have, so you can feel free to exchange them.
Neo Champions: A Pure and Touching Heart Is Coming
Neo Champions: A Pure and Touching Heart will begin on November 29, 2023!
Nate has been nominated as a Neo Champion contender. What kind of Champion will he aim to be?
An Ever Pin is in the item exchange lineup for this event!
Ever Pins allow you to protect one additional effect or theme for Skill Gear. It’s an extremely rare item, so we hope you’ll play the event and exchange for it.
Also, to go along with the event, Nate will appear as part of a Master Sync Pair wearing Champion attire, and will arrive with the new circle field effect!
Circles are field effects that can boost the power of certain categories of Moves and Sync Moves for all allies, and also reduce the damage allies take from those kinds of Moves and Sync Moves. They are similar to Master Passive Skills in that their effects get boosted the more Sync Pairs with certain Themes there are on the allied field of play.
Nate (Champion) & Haxorus
Nate (Champion) & Haxorus are a Strike Sync Pair that can apply Unova Circle (Physical). Their EX Role is Field!
Unova Circle (Physical) can be applied by using their Unova Passion Move. It powers up all allies’ physical attack moves and physical sync moves by 10%, and reduces physical attack move and physical sync move damage taken by all allies by 5%.
Plus, the more Sync Pairs with the Unova Theme there are on the allied field of play, the higher these percentages will be!
The maximum power-up is 40%, and the maximum damage reduction is 14%.
If you have a circle and a Master Passive Skill with the same effects in a battle, both of them can be activated at the same time, meaning Nate (Champion) & Haxorus can show their true worth on a team of Sync Pairs that share the Unova Theme!
Also, their Dark Black Outrage Buddy Move can attack all opponents and reduce their own Sync Move countdown by one. It only has one MP, but one of their Passive Skills can restore one MP of their Buddy Move after their Team uses a Sync Move.
In addition, we’re also bringing you a Special Battle Event and Extreme Battle Event in which you can battle Nate in his Champion attire, so we hope you look forward to these battles.
Other Events and Updates
The returns of an Alola Chapter Villain Event and of a Time Trial Event are planned to begin on December 3, 2023, as well.
Additionally, new battles will be added to Challenge the Strong and a Legendary Gauntlet will begin. In the middle of December, a seasonal Story Event will start, so we hope you look forward to these events!
A High Score Event in which the recommended type is Grass is also scheduled to start in January of next year, so don’t forget to train your Sync Pairs!
Future Updates
New battle content is currently under development.
This is permanent, repeatable content in which you’ll earn points by winning across multiple battles, then use those points to strengthen your Sync Pairs as you aim to win the final battle. Our plans are for exclusive items to be needed to take on these battles.
Since the battles get increasingly difficult with each successive victory, you’ll need to exchange the points you earned for items at the exclusive shop for this content and strengthen your Sync Pairs as you advance. Please note that this method of strengthening Sync Pairs will work only for this content.
There will be many different kinds of items to exchange for at the exclusive shop, and how your Sync Pairs get powered up will vary for each item.
Also, the battles and exclusive shop lineup will change randomly every time you take on this content, which means the optimal Sync Pairs and strategies will change each time as well.
The rewards you can get from this content vary depending on the number of points you have remaining when you complete the final battle. Since you’ll be spending points to strengthen your Sync Pairs as you play, seeing how much you can manage your point usage as you proceed will be vital.
We’re working hard to make this content enjoyable to play over and over with various different strategies, so please look forward to its launch!
