Free League Publishing will launch The Electric State RPG, by Simon Stalenhag, onto Kickstarter on December 5, 2023.
This new TTRPG is based on the narrative art book The Electric State by artist and author Simon Stalenhag, who Free League previously collaborated with for Tales from the Loop (see ” ‘Tales From the Loop’“). Stalenhag’s The Electric State book is also set to be adapted into a movie by the Russo brothers, starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt. The TTRPG will utilize the Year Zero Engine, and be written by Nils Hintze in collaboration with Tomas Harenstam, Nils Karlen, and Mattias Johnsson Haake. Graphic design and layout will be done by Johan Nohr, who also did Mork Borg, and the book will be published in partnership with Skybound Entertainment.
