The Paldea region’s Chairwoman of the Pokémon League inspires Trainers to test their talent.

If you’ve ever wanted to test the true measure of your talent, Pokémon GO’s GO Battle Weekend: Geeta is the perfect opportunity. From October 7, 2023, at 12:00 a.m. to October 8, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. local time, Trainers can channel their inner Geeta by battling hard while enjoying incredible event bonuses and rewards. During this time, the maximum number of battle sets Trainers can participate in each day increases from five to 20 for a whopping 100 battles per day. Choose between the Great League, the Ultra League, and the Master League—or mix it up and battle in all three!

With Champion-level rewards for winning, it’s worth taking on every one of those 100 battles each day. Winning a battle will earn quadruple the usual Stardust. Trainers Level 31 and above will earn a guaranteed Rare Candy XL for winning at least two battles per set, and Trainers Level 30 and below will get a Rare Candy for winning at least two battles per set.

Battling might reign supreme this weekend, but there are still opportunities to get in some research with no-cost battle-themed Timed Research. Trainers can also purchase a ticket for even more battle-focused Timed Research that will earn them Stardust, Rare Candy XL, and a Star Piece once the research is completed. This research is available for US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency) through the in-game shop.
