Strategy: Training Sync Pairs
Level up your sync pairs!
Raise the level of your sync pairs to the recommended level for the battle.
To level up beyond Lv. 100, use the Unlock Level Cap menu.
To obtain the items required, head to the Cap-Unlock Area in the Training Area.
Use the sync grid effectively!
Power up your sync pairs even further via their sync grids. Simply use the Co-op Sync Orbs available in the Sync Orb Area of the Training Area.
There are various ways to upgrade your sync pairs, so choose whatever suits you.

Unleash Theme Skills!
Create teams with sync pairs that share the same themes and target your opponents’ weaknesses.
Use Theme Skills to make your sync pairs even stronger.
Master tactics!
Switching tactics changes the order your team members are targeted.
A key strategy is to have support sync pairs with higher HP, Defense, or Sp. Def targeted first, and strike sync pairs with higher Attack or Sp. Atk targeted third.

Defeat opponents in the center last!
If you defeat an Elite Four or Champion sync pair in the center position first, the Pokémon on the left and right will unleash powerful moves.
So try to defeat the sync pair in the center position last.
Tap an opponent’s Pokémon during battle to switch between targets.

Recommended Fighting Style
- Prepare yourself for your opponent’s Hail!
- Watch out for your opponent’s attacks that inflict the Freezing condition!
- Lower your opponent’s Attack and Sp. Atk!
Recommended Sync Pairs and Tactics
- #1: Sygna Suit Morty & Ho-Oh
- #2: Gloria (Alt. 2) & Cinderace
- #3: Leaf (Champion) & Moltres
Your opponent can cause a hailstorm with their Cold Front Passive Skill, so use Leaf (Champion) & Moltres’s Fiery Wings Flare Blitz or Sygna Suit Morty & Ho-Oh’s Sunny Day to make the weather sunny instead!
Your opponent will use Blizzard and Ice Beam to leave your allies frozen, so counteract them with Leaf (Champion) & Moltres’s Team Solar Immunity Passive Skill!
Your opponent has a Passive Skill that raises the power of their Moves and Sync Move the more their Attack and Sp. Atk are raised, so use Leaf (Champion) & Moltres’s Leer in combination with their Love of Pallet Passive Skill to lower your opponent’s Attack and Sp. Atk!
