Board & Dice will release Nucleum, a new heavyweight eurogame, into retail in November 2023.
Nucleum, designed by Dávid Turczi and Simone Luciani, is a game where an inventor, Elsa Von Fruhlingfeld, invents a nuclear reactor and presents it to King Frederik Augustus II of Saxony. She creates the Nucleum, a uranium-powered energy unit, that ushers Saxony into an age of prosperity. A generation later, Saxony craves more power and more Nucleums to sustain their factories.
In this game, players take on the roles of industrialists taking advantage of this nuclear boom. They earn victory points for building their networks, building and powering urban buildings, securing contracts, and meeting milestones. The industrialist with the most points will win the game. Nucleum is for one to four players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 60 to 150 minutes.
Board & Dice also released Terracotta Army (see “‘Terracotta Army’“).
