BKOM Studios and Paizo Inc. have revealed a roguelite bullet hell survivor game, “Pathfinder: Gallowspire Survivors,” slated for release on PC later this year.
In this epic adventure set in the legendary Pathfinder setting of Gallowspire, players will engage in ferocious battles as one of three heroic characters. Accompanied by an ally of their choice, players must combat a relentless wave of enemies, acquire and enhance a range of powerful spells and weapons, and confront formidable bosses.
Gallowspire, a tower renowned for its darkness in the world of Golarion, houses the lich-emperor Tar-Baphon, one of Pathfinder’s oldest and most potent villains. As the wards keeping him imprisoned start to crumble, players are summoned to thwart Tar-Baphon’s menacing plans and restore the weakening wards.
However, this mission is far from straightforward, with a legion of undead and fiends presenting diverse challenges at every turn. Despite the odds, heroes must rise and face the villain repeatedly to prevent his resurgence.
Upon each fall, players return stronger, ready to confront Gallowspire’s undead army time and again. The game’s roguelite nature ensures that the battle against Tar-Baphon is an eternal struggle, with victory serving as a mere delay to his imminent return.
The game’s features include a choice of three classes — Fighter, Wizard, or Rogue — each offering unique talents, powers, and playstyles. Players can also select a companion hero, level up their heroes, and unlock permanent upgrades. Moreover, the game enables players to customize their challenge level across five difficulty tiers.
