Items to assist with catching wild Pokémon
Poké Balls
A Poké Ball is an item used to catch wild Pokémon. There are different kinds of Poké Balls and they vary in effectiveness. High performance Poké Balls like Great Balls, Ultra Balls, and the Master Ball increase your ability to catch wild Pokémon. The Master Ball is a very rare and special type of Poké Ball with a 100% catch rate. Note that you can only carry one Master Ball in your bag at a time.
Special Poké Balls like Premier Balls and Beast Balls can only be used in certain circumstances like Raid or Ultra Beast encounters.

Berries
Berries can be used when encountering a wild Pokémon to make them easier to catch.
There are three types of Berries to choose from:
- Razz Berries help prevent the Pokémon from breaking free from the Poké Ball.
- Nanab Berries make the Pokémon easier to catch by slowing down its movement.
- Pinap Berries double the amount of Candy you’ll receive if your next catch attempt succeeds.
- Golden Razz Berries are more effective than Razz Berries at preventing the Pokémon from breaking free from a Poké Ball.
- Silver Pinap Berries combine the effect of Razz Berries, making it less likely for a Pokémon to break free from a Poké Ball, and Pinap Berries, giving you more Candy when you catch a Pokémon.
