Niantic is continuing to announce new events and content for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:
Make the most of Mega Raids, enjoy event bonuses, and relish a new Special Research story.
Get fired up: Pokémon GO’s A Valorous Hero event runs through May 17, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time! Valiantly complete Timed Research to earn a Fast TM and a Charged TM. Then join Candela in the newest Special Research story—A Valorous Hero—to encounter Ponyta with a Candela-themed accessory. Triumphantly take on Field Research tasks to get Stardust, Revives, Hyper Potions, and an encounter with Ponyta. Trainers will also get twice the Candy for catching Pokémon, and Trainers Level 31 and up will have twice the likelihood of getting Candy XL when they catch Pokémon.
Mega Pinsir and Shiny Tapu Fini will also make their Pokémon GO debuts.

Special Research story—A Valorous Hero
Special Research featuring the Team Valor leader, Candela, will be available! Trainers who complete the research will be rewarded with an encounter with Ponyta wearing a Candela-themed accessory! This is the only way to encounter Ponyta wearing a Candela-themed accessory during this Season.
Timed Research
Timed Research will be available throughout the event! Complete Timed Research to earn a Fast TM and a Charged TM.
Field Research task encounters
Event-themed Field Research tasks will be available. Complete Field Research to earn Stardust, Revives, Hyper Potions, and an encounter with Ponyta!
Reminder: Seasonal Special Research—An Everyday Hero
Free Special Research will be available for Trainers throughout Season 10: Rising Heroes! Spend some time helping out Professor Willow to see what surprises you can discover!
The Special Research will be available to claim until the end of Season 10: Rising Heroes on June 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
