Leon is hosting the second edition of the Neo Champion Stadium, and Trainers from all over Galar are itching to defeat the undefeated Champion. Bede never fulfilled his dream of becoming Champion during the events of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield, but he’s been given another chance to prove that he’s the best of the best alongside his cool new partner, Galarian Articuno. Bede (Champion) & Articuno are a Psychic-type support sync pair capable of raising their teammates’ Attack, Sp. Atk, and critical-hit rate with Triumphant Tenacity! And when they’re not supporting their allies, they remind their opponents that they can deal plenty of damage on their own with their buddy move, B Freezing Glare, which also raises the Defense and Sp. Def of allied sync pairs and applies the Free Move Next effect to them. Who knew the proud Bede could be such a team player?

Bede (Champion) & Articuno will be available to scout until April 8, 2023, at 10:59 p.m. PDT.

Giovanni & Mewtwo are one of the strongest Psychic-type strike sync pairs in Pokémon Masters EX, but they do have two primary weaknesses—their defensive stats are very low, and they’re unable to raise their Sp. Atk on their own. Bede (Champion) & Articuno can take care of both weaknesses by raising Giovanni & Mewtwo’s defenses with B Freezing Glare and their Sp. Atk with Triumphant Tenacity! Both sync pairs also gain a significant HP bonus when teamed up together thanks to the Psychic theme skill. Giovanni & Mewtwo can be acquired after completing Lurking Shadow in the Legendary Adventures section of the main story.

Bede (Champion) & Articuno do more damage than most support sync pairs, so why not push that damage even further? Bianca & Musharna’s Psychic Terrain boosts the damage of all Psychic-type moves, meaning Bede’s Freezing Glare and B Freezing Glare—and even their sync move, Always Winning Freezing Glare—receive a significant damage bonus. Bianca & Musharna can also do plenty of damage on their own with Stored Power (a move that gets more powerful with each stat raised) after Bede (Champion) & Articuno raise almost all their stats with B Freezing Glare and Triumphant Tenacity! Bianca & Musharna are available to scout from the general pool of 5★ sync pairs, as well as from the 5★-Guaranteed Ticket Scout and 5★-Guaranteed Unova Ticket Scout.
