Hickman and Hitch Revive Ultimate Universe in ‘Ultimate Invasion’

New Chapter for Ultimate Comics Centers on Clash Between The Maker, Miles Morales

The first issue will go on sale on June 21, 2023, with regular and foil variant covers by Hitch.

Marvel brought the Ultimate Universe to an end in 2015 with the Secret Wars event (see “Marvel Plans ‘Ultimate End’”). The new miniseries will start with The Maker’s attempt to bring back the Ultimate Universe, with the Illuminati reuniting to stop him, and Miles Morales in the thick of it.

I’m pretty happy to say that it feels like we’ve accomplished those things…”
