Rio Grande Games unveiled 1930: The Golden Age of Airlines, an airline economics game by Alex Sorbello, which will be coming soon to retail.
This game is set in the early years of the aviation industry. Players assume the roles of aviation investors, promoters, and presidents that are looking to make their fortunes. They build up their wealth by acquiring Stock tokens in the 10 airlines featured in the game. Players can use these Stock tokens by taking dividend payments and holding while the price of airlines’ stock rise over the course of the game. The player with the most asset value in cash and stock wins at the end of the game.
This game is for two to six players and plays in 90 to 120 minutes.
Rio Grande Games also announced Leaders of the New Dawn, a Beyond the Sun expansion (see “‘Beyond the Sun’ Expansion“).
