Knight Models Picks Up ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘House of the Dragon’ Licenses

Knight Models has picked up the Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon licenses to make new tabletop miniatures games in 2023, the company announced.

These licenses are a result of a collaboration with HBO, and few details were released about the game or games being created with these IPs.  The release of a House of Dragon tabletop game would be the first of its kind for that particular IP. CMON has been publishing A Song of Ice and Fire miniatures starter sets and expansion packs for several years now under the license to the fantasy book series by George R.R. Martin (see “‘A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game’“), and have covered a lot of ground as far as releasing unpainted miniatures of Game of Thrones characters into the market.  There is no word on a specific release dates for the Knight Models’ games made with these new IPs.
