Marvel Collects ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ as Hardcover Omnibus

Marvel will collect the full Spider-Man: Brand New Day saga in a hardcover omnibus that will be published in July 2023 with two covers, one by Steve McNiven for the regular edition, and a direct market exclusive cover by Phil Jimenez.

The 1,272-page Spider-Man: Brand New Day Omnibus, Vol. 1 will include Free Comic Book Day 2007 (Spider-Man), Amazing Spider-Man (1999) #546-583, Amazing Spider-Man Annual (2008) #1, Secret Invasion: Amazing Spider-Man #1-3, Presidents’ Day Celebration Digital Comic, Spider-Man: Fear Itself One-Shot (2009), Amazing Spider-Man: Extra! #2, Spider-Man: Swing Shift Director’s Cut One-Shot, and material from Amazing Spider-Man: Extra! #1. Creators include writers Dan Slott, Marc Guggenheim, Bob Gale, Zeb Wells, Mark Waid, Joe Kelly, Roger Stern, Brian Reed, Matt Fraction, and Stuart Moore and artists Phil Jimenez, Steve McNiven, Salvador Larroca, Chris Bachalo, Barry Kitson, Marcos Martin, Mike Mckone, Paulo Siqueira, John Romita Jr., Pat Olliffe, Paolo Rivera, Lee Weeks, Marco Santucci, and Joe Suitor.

The omnibus, which is rated Teen Plus, will go on sale on July 12, 2023, with an MSRP of $125.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which launched in 2008, was the followup to Spider-Man: One More Day, which radically changed the world of Peter Parker. The storyline ran in Amazing Spider-Man and was created by a team of creators working together on a year-long storyline with numerous story arcs and subplots (see “‘Brand New Day’ Now in Brand New Year”).
