‘D&D Tyranny of Dragons’ Will Be Re-Released

Wizards of the Coast will re-release D&D Tyranny of Dragons, a classic 5E adventure campaign collected into one volume, into retail on January 17, 2023.

Tiamat, the Queen of Evil Dragons, takes center stage for a fourth time as D&D Tyranny of Dragons is headed into stores. This was one of the first 5E adventures originally released as the Tyranny of Dragons series of adventures back in 2014 (see “D&D:  ‘The Tyranny of Dragons‘”). It was later published in two volumes as Hoard of the Dragon Queen and The Rise of Tiamat. In 2019, it came back again as the two volumes collected into one Tyranny of Dragons adventure campaign book (see “‘Dungeons & Dragons: Tyranny of Dragons’“).

The latest edition of this book refines the previous volume into a new edition that sends level 1 player characters off to stop a dragon-worshipping cult from bringing Tiamat into the world. This sweeping campaign progresses the characters all the way up to level 15, providing dozens of hours worth of gameplay. The book features a new cover as well as a gallery of concept art that provide a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the campaign.

It will retail for $49.95.
