Note
- Mystery Gift is a feature in the game that allows players to redeem download codes or connect wirelessly to Nintendo-sponsored events to obtain special Pokémon or items.
- The Mystery Gift feature becomes available after you reach the first Pokémon Center in Los Platos.
- Once you have received a gift, it will appear in your bag or party.
- You can select Check Mystery Gifts from the Mystery Gift menu to view the Mystery Gifts you’ve previously received.

Complete these steps

- Launch Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet from the Nintendo Switch HOME Menu.
- Press the X Button during gameplay to access the in-game menu.
- Select Poké Portal.
Important: This option becomes available after you reach the first Pokémon Center in Los Platos.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- How do you want to receive the gift?Internet Code or Password
- Select Internet. The game will connect to the Internet and search for any gifts that are currently available.
- Highlight the Mystery Gift and press the A Button to confirm.
- Pokémon will be added to your party or your Pokémon Boxes.
- Non-fashion items will appear in your Bag.
- Fashion items can be accessed by visiting the fitting room of any in-game boutique.
- Be sure to save your game after receiving your gift.
- Select Code/Password.
- Enter the code you received and select OK
- Pokémon will be added to your party or your Pokémon Boxes.
- Non-fashion items will appear in your Bag.
