Ancient relics. Evil organizations. Enterprising explorers. Pulp goodness all around. That’s what you get in Dicey Tales. If you’re looking to get some pulp action on your tabletops, you should check out this Kickstarter campaign.
From the campaign:
In June 2011, I published Dicey Tales as a digest-sized, classic pulp expansion of the Barbarians of Lemuria (BoL) Role-playing game by Simon Washbourne. Simon and I have had earlier success with my Legends of Steel expansion and campaign setting. Now, I would try my hand at classic pulp beyond the sword and sorcery genre.
I went forward with the second issue of Dicey Tales, expanding it further and adding a few more adventures.
Through the years, I have played and added material to Dicey Tales, and now, with the help of some good friends I have made in the hobby, I am ready to present the newest iteration of the Dicey Tales saga.
Dicey Tales allows you to create characters from every genre of pulp, from the ancient world to the two-fisted era of 1930s adventure.
Dicey Tales offers players and game masters a background to the pulps and how they crossed over into radio, film, and television.
The campaign’s right around its funding goal with 33 days left to go.
