Gotta admit, this one was new to me. But if you’re about my age and were around in the UK in the early 90s, you might remember The Dreamstone. Well, it’s been 30 years since it debuted and now, they’re looking to bring you miniatures and an RPG based on the series. You can check out the Kickstarter campaign for it now.

1992 saw a new threat emerge to trouble the Land of Dreams- the Nightmare Stone! As powerful as the Dreamstone but only for evil… would anything be able to stop the Lord of Nightmares with the stone in his power?

Oakbound produce two games for use with The Dreamstone Miniatures Collection.
The simple Miniatures Game uses a hexagonal grid to move the figures around on the table, attempting to achieve a particular objective. Each side chooses a team from their available figures and equips them with gear they hope will help achieve their mission.
The Dreamstone RPG expands on the concepts of the Miniatures Game and creates an immersive experience where gameplay adopts the structure of a TV episode. Ideal for one-shots and wacky cartoon adventures.
The campaign’s up and running now with 10 days left to go.
