Skytear Games revealed Skytear Horde, a castle defense card game, for release into retail on January 12, 2023.
In this game, players use their decks to fight off waves of monsters sieging their castes. It is a lane-based card game where monsters assault the castle from the frontline, and lesser forces of monsters pillage the players decks, forcing them to discard, from the backline of defense. In the cooperative mode or solo mode, the players or player loses the game once the castle is destroyed or they run out of cards in their deck. They win by destroying the portal that the monsters of spawning out of. There is also a competitive mode where one player controls the horde and the other players have to defend the castle against that player.
This game is for one to three players, ages 14 and up, and plays in 30 minutes. The MSRP for this game will be $49.99. Skytear Horde will be distributed through Asmodee in the U.S. (see “Six Companies Send Products into Distribution with Asmodee USA“).
