“Ray! If someone asks if you’re a god, you say, ‘YES!'” Well, in The Crowned, you don’t have to fake it. You are a newly-crowned god character. What do you do with yourself now? That’s the themes that the game explores. This new RPG is up on Kickstarter now.

The Crowned is a genre-blending, narrative driven TTRPG where players step into the role of characters gifted the mantle of godhood. Horror, surrealism, intrigue, and fantasy are built on a backdrop of advanced-tech science fiction that forms a world in which a player’s imagination will shape the reality of the game.
The Crowned is a fresh game with original mechanics, in-depth world-building, and an innovative “a la carte” system of character creation and advancement that allows players the freedom of near endless customization. As gods, the players will first choose their Purview. A Purview is what a player is the god of, and will be a defining element in a character’s journey. The Crowned is a game built to embrace the creativity and weirdness that players bring to the table, and is crafted with balance in mind. The Rote system in The Crowned means the god of volcanoes and the god of bubble gum can play in the same campaign without worry that their seemingly disparate power levels might unbalance the game.
The campaign’s up and over its funding goal with 12 days left to go.
