Marvel has launched an app for Shopify merchants that allows stores to add Marvel merch from Mad Engine to their stores without risk or investment in inventory, the company announced. Through the free Marvel Design Collection Shopify app, stores can integrate hundreds of Marvel-licensed products into their Shopify stores, set their own prices, receive tracking information on fulfillment (orders are shipped from Mad Engine), and pay for merchandise sold through the app. The app was designed and refined by Sunrise Integration, a Shopify partner.
Crunchyroll has partnered with Hot Topic’s cause-driven pop culture retail Box Lunch chain for in-store activations featuring My Hero Academia and Jujutsu Kaisen at select stores. The activations at 11 Box Lunch locations feature social media-friendly backdrops of My Hero Academia, with backdrops of Jujutsu Kaisen at two of them. Live events are also planned at select locations. Box Lunch carries merch featuring Crunchyroll properties, including a special Box Lunch X Crunchyroll My Hero Academia collection.
