Every year, Privateer Press has their special The Longest Night event to celebrate the spooky season. They were going to also celebrate the release of MkIV, but with delays, that’s not quite happening. As such, they’ve dubbed this year’s event The Longest Wait.

In light of the delay to the WARMACHINE MKIV Core Army Starters announced last week, we still want a reason for players to gather around the upcoming WARMACHINE app Beta release at the end of October and get a taste of MKIV on the tabletop. And for years, we’ve promoted a Halloween-themed in-store event called The Longest Night as a fun, casual way for players to get together and celebrate the holiday alongside some WARMACHINE action. This year, we’ve dubbed the event, The Longest Wait (for obvious reasons), and we’ve put together an event support kit that should provide a fun distraction from counting the days until the starters arrive!
Prize kits containing two preview copies of Alexia, Queen of the Damned as well as six sinister Felgoeth Glyph patches are available to retailers who wish to run the event. For retailers who have ordered the MKIV launch kit, Privateer Press is supplying the kit for free. Just reach out to Sherry@Privateerpress.com to let us know that you’re planning to run the event, and the kit will be sent directly to the store or routed through the distributor the launch kit was ordered from. Retailers who did not order the launch kit can still purchase one by contacting Sherry@privateerpress.com for details. (Limit one prize kit per store, while supplies last.)
