Small-town America. It seems an idyllic location. Everyone pretty much knows one-another. It’s quaint. But underneath, a terrible horror is brewing. That’s where you find yourself in Heartless, a horror RPG zine that’s up on Kickstarter now.
From the campaign:
Heartless is a tabletop horror adventure in which the players take on the role of police officers in the fictional small town of Alderton, Oregon in 1986. The adventure begins with the horrific discovery of a dead teenage girl, strung up and mutilated. As the days pass, more victims will follow as the players must race against time to stop the killer. As their investigation develops they will learn of the occult forces at play in Alderton and the violent events of the town’s past.
The campaign’s up and over its funding goal (being fair, they weren’t asking for much) with 28 days left to go.
