Dark Horse Books announced The Legend of Luther Arkwright, a new hardcover graphic novel, for release on February 15, 2023.
Bryan Talbot returns to the science fiction world of Luther Arkwright, which began back in the 70’s as British serial. The serial eventually led to a The Adventures of Luther Arkwright limited series published by Valkyrie Press that was later republished in the U.S. by Dark Horse Comics. Since then, Dark Horse published a 1999 sequel called Heart of Empire. This upcoming GN offers an all-new tale where Luther Arkwright, who has the psychic power that allows him to traverse a multiverse of infinite existences, faces an enemy across multiple divergent parallel worlds. Arkwright will have to rely on his experience to avoid the utter annihilation of humanity.
The Legend of Luther Arkwright will retail for $39.99 upon release.
It’s Alive recently announced that it plans to publish a collected edition of The Nazz, by the late writer Tom Veitch and artist Bryan Talbot (see “‘The Nazz’“).
