Bandai: S.H. Figuarts Star Wars Book of Boba Fett Deluxe Set Announced

Okay, Tamashii Nations went all out for the latest look for Boba Fett!

Which is good, since this is my favorite update to Boba, going for a leaner cleaner look. Kinda Jango in Boba colors.

It looks like they’ve updated the overall look to be more accurate. The previous ones (Mandalorian Season 2 and Return of the Jedi) had a slight animated feel, both with the clean paints and soft sculpt, but this one goes for broke. Also, it seems to be bigger than the Mando version, which is also good because it was undersized. That or this pic is really misleading.

Then there’s the full range of accessories, plus a few to grow on.

・ Replacement wrist left and right 4 types each
・Blaster (small)
· Rifle
・Holster (empty)
・Spear (Gaffi stick)
・Missile
・Missile launch effect
・Jet pack
・Jet Pack launch effect left and right

That neutral face head looks a lot like the previous one, but then there’s also an angry face head. And I guess I didn’t realize Boba had a different jetpack in BoBF. I couldn’t find confirmation, but that attachment has to be magnets, right?

But that’s not all. There’s also a throne….thrown in for good measure.

All for 12000 yen, which is definitely a deluxe price, but with the current exchange rate that’s $86. General release, should be available for pre-order soon. Releases January 2023.
